When we are out on a vacation, it’s important that we follow the culture and manners of the place of our visit. It is in a way giving respect to the place of our visit and its people. Don’t Disturb People Around You: When you are using a public transportation, make sure that your disposal is not offensive to anyone. Don’t stare at ladies! Be polite: When talking to shop-owners, passengers or people in general, make sure you are polite and speak softly. Watch your belongings: No one, but you should take care of your own belongings. Keep your carry bags on your lap and don’t occupy the seat beside you with your bag.
Say thank you: to anyone who helps you! Whether that person has given you directions or has let you get on to the tube first or has given his seat. It’s appreciating and acknowledging the effort. And yeah, do it with a smile, so that it looks genuine!
Drive carefully: If you are driving, then keep a cool head and resist the urge to jump red-lights or break other road rules that are easier to do in a small city.
