Decorating a bedroom in a systematic order may seem to be a hard job. There are certain things that have to be taken care of while decorating a small bedroom. It requires sense and needs care to arrange it in a perfect order. Here we are giving you a few tips that will help you in decorating a small bedroom in an effective way.
1. If you find that there is not enough space for a bedside table, then place a wall mounted shelf next to the bed. This will give enough space on it to place an alarm clock, books, photos and other items.
2. If there is lack of space for a bureau or closet then use under bed storage.
The under bed storage made from inexpensive plastic or wood will give enough space beside the bed. This will help you to pull them out when you need access to them.
3. If you like to watch a little TV before going to sleep, then fit a wall TV that could be purchased from any good DIY store.
4. The colours used on the walls of a small bedroom should be neutral tones. It should be taken care that the paint in the mouldings and doors of he room is same as the walls. The ceilings must be painted white as it will give a sense of height to the room.
5. The furniture must be clean lined and should have small delicate patterns on it.
6. Open up the room by maximizing the views. Use light fabrics or blinds at the windows.
7. Make sure that the room is well illuminated. It will provide space in a small room.
8. Add a mirror in a position opposite a natural form of light to provide further light into a room thereby creating an illusion of space.
