The Feng Shui home office tips

The Feng Shui home office tips

A large number of people have started to believe the Oriental powers of Feng Shui. People in Asia have been considering Feng Shui type to be an important contributor to personal and business success for many centuries. If a custom has been followed for centuries, why not we consider our home office in the Feng Shui as well? Here are a few tips for the Feng Shui home office.

The location: Your Feng Shui home office should have a separate outside entrance. Keep an outside entrance in order to keep your business and personal lives separate.

The position: You should never face a door directly because you may be overpowered by the incoming Chi. You should never have your back to the window either. Hence, your best position in your home office is with your back to wall that holds pictures with an Earthy element, say, pictures of mountains and lakes.

The interiors: Your Feng Shui should reflect the positive Chi. To realize this, hang wind chimes or bamboo flutes to offset the negative energy. Wind chimes or plants can negate the views of harmful elements from your window. Cactus and Bamboo are good decorating elements for your Feng Shui office because they symbolize good fortune. The placement of sharp leaved plants is good for your Feng Shui home office because they are believed to deter harmful influences.

Furniture: Each piece of your office furniture should be 7-9 inches away from each other. This ensures flow of Chi in the room. Make sure that the furniture is not cluttered.

The walls: The walls of your Feng Shui home office should reflect be decorated with earthy elements such as a picture of a lake, waterfall or any other water scene. It is believed to be ideal to place the pictures on the East side of your home office. This represents flow of the positive Chi. Aquarium is also a good option.

By decorating your Feng Shui home office with the above elements, you will actually increase your prosperity, abundance, boost your health, reduce stress, and avoid family conflicts. Feng Shui home office also increases your concentration on your work. Thus, a Feng Shui home office upgrades your life in many ways.
