Comments Choosing pillows
The right pillows can make a dramatic difference in getting your dose of good night’s sleep. There are many types of pillow. My suggestion would be to choose the pillows according to your sleeping habits, that is, according to your posture while you sleep. Here are some of the many options available in the stores.
The most important factor while choosing a pillow is the level of comfort it provides. When you do the purchase, check its comfort level- lie down on it to see how much it will be comfortable in your bed.
Talking about the types of pillows, the synthetic fill are inexpensive and are machine washable. The alternative to synthetic filled pillow is wool- fill. Since wool is a natural fiber, it is more breathable than other materials.
If you want a firm pillow, go for the one filled with foam.
If you are a back sleeper, choose a pillow of medium firmness, to make support for the head, neck and shoulders. If you want extra comfort, place a pillow under your knees for the undisturbed sleep.
For side sleepers, the best type of pillow is which is almost flat. Since you are a side sleeper, you should distribute the body weight evenly along your body. A pillow with medium to medium firm consistency is preferable.
