The bedroom should be a relaxing place where you can unwind and rest. Many people want their bedrooms to be romantic havens, or places where the entire family can sleep. It should be a quiet and peaceful environment; you need to feel protected and do not want to be disturbed .At the same time, there needs to be a good circulation of energy and plenty of fresh air available to recharge you.

Having great bedroom feng shui will make you wake up with good energy, ready for whatever the day holds for you. Since you spend more than six hours each night in this room, the feng shui (flow of energy) of your bedroom has a huge impact during sleep, which in turn affects your overall health and happiness. Few basic feng shui bedroom tips

1. Position your bed so that you can see the door from where you sleep. This gives you a deep sense of inner security. 2. Ideally, the bedroom should be as far away as possible from the front door, mirroring the practice of our prehistoric ancestors who did not sleep in the mouth of their cave. 3. If you have a bathroom, toilet or shower leading off your bedroom, make sure that the toilet door is always shut while you are asleep. 4. All beds should have a solid headboard and footboard (no slats).The headboard should be placed against a solid wall. 5.Warm colors are best for the bedroom such as browns, beiges, reds, apricots and yellows and red, the color of love 6. Pay attention to what is under your bed. Keep the space clear and get rid of any unwanted items there. 7. Avoid sleeping with your image visible in a mirror. The worst scenario of all is a mirror at the foot of your bed. 8. The only photographs that should be in the bedroom are of those people who sleep there. 9. When you are sitting up in bed you should be able to see the door. 10. There should be no live plants in the bedroom. 11. No mirrors in the bedroom. This especially includes mirrored closet doors. 12. Ceiling beams above the bed are a feng shui nightmare.
