To design a plain oversized bedroom is huge challenge to undertake. A room with large size is difficult to decorate. Creating a cosy atmosphere can be a little tricky. Just because the room is big, it does not mean that you should fill it up with a lot of furniture and ornaments. Start by picking out a nice bed or a small couch. The bed is the most basic thing in the room. As the room is large, it can be positioned against the wall. It is preferable for a bed to face a direction where it will not be seen by someone as soon as he enters in. Add a little privacy to it by placing a large dresser with the back of it to the headboard. Placing folding floor screens at the head of the bed is a nice idea. Find side tables that may look fine with the bed. Round tables are perfect side tables if you want to deviate from the traditional nightstands.
You can add a little bit of sophistication to your room by hanging up abstract metal wall art. This beautiful decorative piece on your wall will add interest to a space in such a simple way. Change the effect by hanging in a different angle or placing it in the most unusual location. You can hang one piece for a simple look or multiple ones for a better look.
