Everyone of us need to remodel our homes at some time or the other. Sometimes it’s the kitchen, sometimes the bathroom floor and sometimes the backsplashes. What if we employ a means that not only mends these surfaces but also adds beauty to your homes? We are talking of pebble wall tiles which if used, can uplift your room décor in more ways than you can think of.
How does this happen?
In a nutshell pebble wall tiles are about putting together identical beach-stones that are attached manually onto a mesh backing of 12″ by 12″ size. These stones are smooth and come in a variety of colors. South East Asian countries, particularly Indonesia is specially known for its large variety of colorful and designed seashore stones, which are commonly used for these natural tiles. This tiling method helps you to remodel any surface in your house or just decorate it for beauty sake, for that matter.
The benefits!
These are some quick benefits this form of tiling can give to us.
• You can use this method to beautify not only your homes, but offices, restaurants, hotels and other places as well. It can be used both outdoors as well as indoors.
• You may use it for dry as well as wet surfaces such as shower flooring or as a sink backsplash.
• The process of installing it is extremely easy and takes only a few hours.
Some basics:
If you really intend to appreciate the beauty of these nature-made panels, it is suggested that you remove the excess grout stuck on it with a wet sponge before using them. This will help you to expose maximum number of stones.
You can also remove the grout after you’ve stuck them with the adhesive but make sure it has completely dried up before you start scrubbing it.
Pebble Wall Tile installation is a fun activity with on technical or physical effort required on your side. Just that if you are doing it for the first time, read about it on various forums on the internet and other platforms so that you know a little more than nothing before going for it.

When it comes to beautifying the walls, deciding between wallpaper and paint can be very tricky because each has its advantages and disadvantages. So here is a list of the pros and cons of paint and wallpaper which will hopefully reduce a whole lot of confusion in the choice. Read on and decide whether you want to paint the walls of or apply the wallpaper themes.
Advantages of wallpaper:
There are hundreds and thousands of wallpaper patterns, textures and colors to choose from. The wallpaper patterns range from florals (widely used), geometric shapes and even landscapes. You can decide different themes to each room in your home. Textured wallpapers add liveliness to the walls which is not provided by the paints.
Wallpapers are perhaps the artistic ways to decorate the walls. They have the ability to hide the imperfections in your walls. Wallpapers are convenient to use and cheap as compared to paints. You can make a surface look like wood, bricks, metal or straw simply with wallpaper.
Disadvantages of wallpaper:
Keeping the dirt off your wallpaper is a daunting task. Wallpapers get easily stained and those that are stain proof are costlier. If the wallpaper is exposed to sunlight, over time, your wallpaper will fade and ultimately loose all its colors. You should be very careful in selecting the place for the wallpaper. So if your room has a wide veranda, large windows or a balcony, better paint the area rather than using wallpaper.
Advantages of paint:
Paint requires low maintenance as compared to wallpaper. Paints can last for many years as compared to wallpapers. Moreover, the color of the paint will not fade as quickly as the color of a wallpaper fades. Once you have painted your walls, you need not to be so worried about maintaining and cleaning your walls. Stains can be easily removed off the wall if it is painted or else you can re-paint the stained area with the same color. On the other hand, the entire panel of wallpaper requires to be replaced if only a small part of the wall is stained.
Disadvantages of paint:
Wallpaper offer you wide range of colors and patterns which is not found much in paint. Wallpapers can create illusions instantly which the paint cannot. The designs illustrated in wallpaper can be flawless. However, the paint designs would not be as detailed and flawless as those in wallpapers.
Now that you know the limitations and advantages of both wallpapers and paints, it is up to you how you want to decorate your walls.
