Keep Them Clean
The first part of keeping them strong is to keep them clean. As the
stainless steel kitchen carts will allow spilling things and making a mess on their surface, they also require the mess to be cleaned up when the cooking is over. There are a couple of reasons for this. The first step is that by leaving liquids and other food items on the carts can start to eat away at the finish over time. Another reason is your health. If you keep back the remnants of food on the stainless steel kitchen carts, you are essentially encouraging bacteria to breed on the food preparation surfaces. As you wipe down the countertops and other cooking spaces, you may have to make sure that you wipe down the kitchen carts, including the handles, and anything that may have dripped on the legs. The soapy water mixture can be used to clean the surface, and then a glass cleaner or similar item to make it shinier. Use out another cleaner, if there are smudges that are not coming off with a regular cleaning. Avoid bleach on stainless surfaces. Instead, use a vinegar and water mixture with a cloth. The streaks will go away with a few rubs of this combination.
