Self help tips to avoid worry and anxiety

If you have been keeping low due to worry or anxiety about your personal or professional present & future, it is time for you to stay calm by following some self help tips to avoid uncertainty and grow as a positive individual.

Believe it or not, all of us face challenges of life and no one of us is an exception. While some of us overpower all fears, worries, and failures, some of us tend to over-exaggerate and over-think about things that are not worth a consideration in the first place. However, things can be handled in calm and composed with some self help techniques to get rid of anxiety and worries.

1. Progressive muscle relaxation is one of the most effective techniques to stay calm and make better decisions. This technique is all about systematically tensing and then releasing different muscle groups of the body to relax the body and eventually the mind.
2. Meditation can be another useful technique for relaxation and has the unique ability of reducing or eliminating the source and impact of stress to a considerable extent in no time. This technique has the potential of improving activity on the left side of the prefrontal cortex, which is the area behind feelings of joy and serenity.
3. Deep breathing from the diaphragm can help you get rid of dizziness, breathlessness, lightheadedness, and tingly hands and feet besides calming yourself down.

If you follow these easy yet highly effective tips, you can surely give your best to attain happiness, satisfaction, fame, and recognition in life.

When you set a goal, a lot of factors contribute in achieving it. But, what can stand in the way of achieving your goal? How do you get motivated? How to maintain your determination? Here are some tips: Write down your goals: Try this out- write down a series of daily, weekly and long-term goals. Mention the starting times and your deadlines.Is your goal realistic? Don’t go for unrealistic dreams. Identify and focus on feasible targets.

Routine: Start a daily routine. Review the steps that you want to take and the reasons to achieve them. If you want to do it today, don’t postpone it. Make it your priority.

Personify your goal: Imagine that you have already achieved your goal, feel what it is like having achieved your goal. It will motivate you.

Don’t be negative: Don’t allow negative thoughts to creep in. Replace your negative self-talks with motivating ones.

Reward yourself: Reward yourself after achieving each step. Celebrate your success.

Don’t blame people or your bad luck: Don’t complain your setbacks. Instead, look at setbacks as a part of the learning process.

To achieve any goal, you need determination and consistency. Maintain the momentum and look at your goals becoming real!
