Curtains have a big role in deciding the looks of the room. The basic function of curtains or drapes is to cut-off the extra sunlight from entering inside. The sun is primary source of lighting during daytime. It enters indoor spaces with varying intensities depending upon the time.  Curtains adjust the entry effectively.

Curtains have been an object that maintained the balance of sunlight whereby maintained the look of the room. It maintains a balance between light and dark intensities in the rooms. The tolerant light intensities vary from person to person, making the curtains have a facility of sliding horizontally on the curtain rod, so that the person can

modify the intensity of illumination as per his personal needs.Curtains also have a decorative function. They are available in different colour, fabric, fabric thickness, stitch patterns, shapes.

The curtains with embroidery patterns are common. They are alluring and inviting with their elegant looks. Fascinating designed curtains simply make the bedrooms look fabulous letting in a fresh look.

A good looking colour and fabric transparency play a big role in curtain design. A slightly transparent curtain with bright colour shades creates a wonderful ambience in the bedroom letting the direct sunlight fall on the outer surface of it. It by casting shadows on the inside walls create an interesting design pattern.

But anyhow the actual design of the curtain does depend on a series of factors including the size of the opening, window, and door. The curtains in the bedrooms also make the room look spacious. So, if you are planning to make the bedroom look fascinating and appealing, you should never turn face off from window curtains. Remember, a good looking curtain made of a nice fabric will not only adjust the entry of light depending your moods, but also adds elegance to the room.

Acoustical curtains are an attractive sound blocking option for your home or business. These are made of absorbent material and increases soundproofing with improved acoustics in rooms. These curtains are fine for your home, if has thin walls.  The acoustical curtains will be able to control reverberations from walls and block sound from windows and doorways. These are excellent in apartments where neighbours are literally on the other side of the wall. Hang the curtains on the shared wall to cut out the sound from entering inside.

Acoustical curtains are fine in the room, if you have children. Place them over windows and on walls in a creative way. Curtains in light colours brighten up rooms making them appear larger. Acoustical curtains seem like paint on walls. This is a great solution for brightening rooms when you are not permitted to paint walls, particularly in rental property. These curtains help to prevent noise vibrations if you have a home theatre. Acoustical curtains are a nice option for media rooms, music rooms, and basements. They decorate the windows and on walls.

Acoustical curtains can be used in doorways. Choose a colour that complements the décor in two adjoining rooms. Hang it in the doorframe and secure the sides to the doorframe for additional sound blocking

If you want the best level of soundproofing, then double up acoustical curtains. It is the method to place one set on top of another set. Use regular rods for the set closest to the wall. Use extended curtain rods to place the second set over the first set or place two sets on one rod. Just make sure that you use a sturdy rod as the curtains are heavy. Seal the curtain edges for better and increased sound proofing. Now see the result. You will definitely appreciate the peace and quietness of the home.
