Are you in efforts to make your bedroom look elegant and royal? Want to introduce a touch of style, tradition and comfort in your bedroom. Do you feel like bringing an alluring style to antique furniture? Just wait. We are giving you some excellent tips that will help to make your bedroom royal. Just refurbish your old recliners and bed sets and introduce them in the bedroom. Remember that the wooden beds with intricate hand carvings will add an old-world royal touch to the room. Just replace the old bed sheets with new silk bed sheets and pillow cases will complement antique furniture. Believe me; it will make the room spacious and rich.
Now introduce full length silk curtains in deep shades of maroon and blue to add an aura of mysticism to the room. Want to make antique chairs and recliners look more comfortable? Then here is an easy way. Equip them with soft decorative cushions lined with silk and lace.
Most probably, the antique furniture is made of mahogany, walnut, or oak wood. Even though the may be classy to look at and comfortable to use, the dark colors make a small bedroom look dingy. This makes it more comfortable to choose white antiques for small spaces. It will help in brightening up the room and creating the illusion of space. Even though, it does not have a definitive style but is truly unique. By getting fit into any home with ease it makes your bedroom cool by giving a lighter feel. Now team them up with airy linen curtains and pastel-cooled bedspreads. Keep plush woollen carpets and rugs in white which will complement this kind of furniture.
While coming to furniture, contemporary translates to minimalist. Keep contemporary furniture in your bedroom to give it a royal look. Prefer sleek functional furniture which will allow maximum floor space. Designer metal furniture is also a good choice.

Whether you take a nap, watch television, get intimate with your lady or rejuvenate for the next day, the right lighting can change the shape of all these activities in your bedroom. Lights that put stress on your eyes are against the tranquil atmosphere which you want to create in your bedroom. Make sure that improper lighting is not done in the bedroom. Here are a few decorative lighting tips for your bedroom.
Table lamps and pull- chain lamps:
These are the best for controlling the amount of light easily. To establish a romantic atmosphere, use low-wattage pull-chains.
Ceiling lights:
Look for different styles of ceiling lights for your bedroom. Semi-flush fixtures add to the décor of your room. A dimmer light is recommended to suit the ambience, rather than strong lighting.
Floor lamps:
Illuminate the poorly lit corner of your bedroom with floor lamps. Make sure you get floor lamps that allow for three-way bulbs or have a dimmer switch so you can adjust the illumination to suit your needs.
Wall sconces:
Wall sconces beautify your bedroom and add character to the design of your room.

The right pillows can make a dramatic difference in getting your dose of good night’s sleep. There are many types of pillow. My suggestion would be to choose the pillows according to your sleeping habits, that is, according to your posture while you sleep. Here are some of the many options available in the stores.
The most important factor while choosing a pillow is the level of comfort it provides. When you do the purchase, check its comfort level- lie down on it to see how much it will be comfortable in your bed.
Talking about the types of pillows, the synthetic fill are inexpensive and are machine washable. The alternative to synthetic filled pillow is wool- fill. Since wool is a natural fiber, it is more breathable than other materials.
If you want a firm pillow, go for the one filled with foam.
If you are a back sleeper, choose a pillow of medium firmness, to make support for the head, neck and shoulders. If you want extra comfort, place a pillow under your knees for the undisturbed sleep.
For side sleepers, the best type of pillow is which is almost flat. Since you are a side sleeper, you should distribute the body weight evenly along your body. A pillow with medium to medium firm consistency is preferable.

Is water is leakage in the bathroom making the whole place a mini swimming pool? Want a solution to fix the outflow? Read on to fix the dampness.
Exhaust fan:
Install an exhaust fan to maintain low levels of humidity in the bathroom. Switch it on during and following showers. Clean the fan once in a week to remove moisture accumulated in the fan and duct.
Toilet:
Examine the toilet water lines at least once a month because they are the most vulnerable water junctions in your entire home. Search for leaks around the toilet seat, in the water hose, and under the tank. If you find any signs of moisture on the floor around the toilet, it is important to inspect the toilet rim and tank seals to see if they need to be replaced.
Shower:
Check the tiles in your shower. Replace the cracked or damaged tiles every few weeks. Make sure that there is no between the tiles.
Cabinets and sinks:
Monitor the sink regularly for signs of mold or moisture. Check the countertop as well. Replaced the sink if there is any crack in it.

Bedroom is probably one of the most important rooms of your home. You trudge into your bedroom to chill-out after a day’s long hectic work. Follow a few decorating tips to make your private sanctuary a cozier and tranquil place.
Color your walls!
Paint the walls of your bedroom using a warm neutral color. Add texture to the walls by either faux painting or rubber stamping. If you are bored of paint, wallpaper may be a different way of decorating your bedroom.
Comfort mattress:
Choose the right bed for your bedroom. Don’t get a bed that is too large for your room. Cover your bed with cotton bedspread in solid colors.
Pillows:
Pillows add an extra touch of romantic atmosphere in your bedroom. Use a mix of pillows of different sizes and shapes.
Lighting:
To create a cozy atmosphere, the lighting in your bedroom should be of low wattage. Consider using a three-way bulb in your side table lamps if you occasionally read in bed. Go for candle lights on special romantic evenings.
Personal touch:
Hang your favorite photos and wall paintings. Display figurines that reflect your feelings and personality. Place a flower vase in your bedside table.
