![]() |
Have you ever thought of doing something crazy with your toothpaste other than just laying it on your toothbrush? Want to remove a stain without damaging the smooth surface of furniture and countertops or clean up glass surfaces and mirrors? Use toothpaste. The extra mild abrasives in toothpaste remove stains without scratching the surface. Toothpaste has worked wonders in removing water stains on finished furniture and stains on kitchen countertops. It also works on small rust stains. Simply rub a dab into the stain for about 30 seconds and wipe it away. Toothpastes have all of a sudden grabbed housewives’s attention and have taken them to a different cleaning high. Right from stained crockery to scratch marks on glass utensils.. you name a hundred and one kitchen woes .. and the good old toothpaste comes to the rescue! Use toothpaste on a cloth to remove black scuffmarks from linoleum. You need to clean up your dirty jewelry when you are already in a rush to attend a party ? Just take an old toothbrush and apply a dab of toothpaste. Then proceed to gently rub your old dirty jewelry. Presto .. and voila ! You would be pleasantly surprised ! The different jewelry cleaners that are available in the market might be sold in the jewelry section of various departmental stores and might also work well – but there is no minty fresh smell when you clean your jewelry compared to the toothpaste. Also toothpaste works good in a pinch and spares your wallet ….that’s for sure.
